Sample contracts and contract exhibits are provided to illustrate
the types of contracts used with Water Research Foundation research projects. The standard
contract, or Project Funding Agreement (PFA), is the Foundation's starting
point for contracting with researchers on projects. Awardees will
receive a preliminary PFA, which will include details specific to the
award for negotiation purposes.

The Foundation generally enters into an agreement with the sponsor and cofunding utilities under the Foundation's Tailored
Collaboration Program.

Upon receipt of the Prequalification Application Form, the Foundation will send the applicant two copies of the RRR Program Prequalification Terms and Conditions for review and execution.
The project-specific project funding agreement (PFA)
will incorporate the RRR Program Prequalification Terms and Conditions by reference.
